Episode 003: John Relyea & Thomas Adès

Joining me in this episode, are my friends, Bass-Baritone John Relyea and Composer/Conductor Thomas Adès.  This episode was filmed in July 2008 while we were in London performing Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden.  John discusses preparing for his debut performance of Nick Shadow, while Thom discusses managing his hectic schedule as an itinerate conductor.

Episode 002: Norah Amsellem & Mariusz Kwiecien

In this episode, I am in London performing in La Traviata at the Royal Opera House. During intermission, I chatted with my colleagues about life on the road, their personal lives and future engagements. Norah shares her experiences adjusting to the recent addition to her family, and Mariusz talks about returning to Poland to visit family.
